Extended Opportunities Program

EOPS Eligibility

Program eligibility is based on a history of low-income and demonstrated financial need. All candidates must be full-time students and complete required application forms.

Students who meet the following criteria may qualify for EOPS:

  • Be a resident of California;
  • Qualify for financial aid;
  • Enroll in 12 units or more per semester;
  • File an EOPS Application and submit all supporting documents;
  • Be determined as educationally disadvantaged;
  • no more than 70 semester units completed towards a degree.
