The Job Market

Vacuum technology is used in many industries including computer manufacturing, food processing and scientific researchers.

Students with the Certificate are qualified for direct job entry in high-tech manufacturing.

Students with the AS degree will have demonstrated proficiency in a specific area of Vacuum Technology, such as Electronics, Mechanical or Process Technology which is valuable to employers in those industries. These students will also have demonstrated a broader educational basis and writing ability that can give them an advantage for promotional opportunities in the future.
