Technical Student Repair Team (TechSTaRT)

TechSTaRT TechSTaRT, the Las Positas College Technical Student Repair Team, is a student business offering free computer repair services to Las Positas College students, staff, and faculty.

For services, first make an appointment by calling 925.424.1236. Then bring your computer to Room 804A. Donations are encouraged and accepted.
For tutorials on performing preliminary troubleshooting, visit our Support Center.

To Register

Enroll concurrently in LaPTechS, ELEC 1511 (one-unit seminar) and 1512 (one or two unit lab) or BUSN 91 (one-unit seminar) and 92 (one or two unit lab). In the lab, four hours of work per week are required for one unit, and eight hours of work per week are required for two units.
