Accreditation 2003

Las Positas College is fully accredited. Three copies of the report of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges are on hold in Learning Resource Center (Library) for the public to view. Additional copies are available in each division from Carmen McCauley, Linda Peifer, and Karen Kit for anyone who would like to see it.

The Self Study for Accreditation at LPC has been written, has been reviewed by the Coordinating Council (a committee made up of the chairs of each of the ten standards, the self study chair, and the accreditation liaison officer) and was accepted by the Steering Committee (the LPC Institutional Planning Committee). After incorporation of the suggestions of the Steering Committee, it was edited for consistency of language. At this point, the document is available to the entire campus community for review and suggestions. In November, the self study will be submitted to the Board of Trustees.

If you would like a hard copy to review, they can be found in the library, each division office, and with each standard chair.
