IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING TRANSFER ADMISSIONS MATRIX: As of Fall 2007, JFK requires transferable level math (from IGETC or CSU GE) for transfer. However, they will still honor Elementary Algebra if students complete an AA degree from a California Community College. Yes, that means if they complete an AA, they will not need to take any higher level math after transfer (at least for GE). The current matrix states that they will accept IGETC and CSU GE math courses equal to Intro Algebra or higher (which doesn't make sense).
