Certificate of Achievement

The Law Enforcement Certificate of Achievement recognizes the accomplishments of the recruit who has successfully completed the Recruit Orientation Course and the 28 week POST basic training academy.

Career Opportunities

A person who successfully completes the POST basic training academy is eligible for employment as a California peace officer if they also meet the background criteria set forth in California Government Code section 1031.
