Instructions for applying for Early Admission
- Apply online beginning January 28, 2008.
- Early Admissions Application Deadline: March 14, 2008.
- Register for Fall 2008 classes: Saturday, May 10, 2008. The Las Positas College Admissions and Records Office will be open 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 if you prefer to register for classes in person.
The Early Admission Program at Las Positas College (LPC) is an opportunity for high school seniors to complete early admission as well as utilize priority orientation, testing, counseling and registration. This program assists students to maximize their enrollment at LPC. The college provides excellent technical (A.A. Degree and A.S. Degree) and transfer (UC, CSU, and private) education to meet your educational goals. When you take advantage of Early Admission, you can be enrolled in your fall classes before your summer vacation begins.
Las Positas College has an excellent reputation: our graduates and transfer students are well prepared for the world of work and/or for more advanced education at universities.
Course enrollment fees for California residents are $20 per unit. In addition, you must pay other applicable fees. Payment is due upon registration. If fees are not paid, classes will be dropped according to the “Drop for Non-Payment” deadline dates. Early Admission students get first choice of classes – a real advantage for college students particularly now when competition for courses is high.
Enrollment fees may be waived for qualified students and other financial aid may be available. Contact Financial Aid at 925. 424.1580.
