Early Childhood Development Home
The preschool environment has changed over the years, from a brief 3 hour enrichment program to a 10-hour a day, 5-day a week day care environment. As a result, the adults around them have a significant impact on their development. Further, young parents are often isolated from their families and friends so their child care providers become an important source of advice and support. The ECD program at Las Positas College provides the skills to work in this joyful, challenging and immensely satisfying field.
