Welcome to Las Positas College's Innovation Center website. In addition to providing an overview of Instructional Technology at LPC, the purpose of this website mirrors the mission of the on-campus Innovation Center (the iCenter): to provide instructional technology resources, training, and support to faculty and staff in order to enhance student learning.
The goals of the Innovation Center are:
- To provide quality instructional technology resources.
- To provide technical and pedagogical training and support to faculty and staff who want to either supplement traditional classes with technology or design online courses.
- To provide training and support to faculty and staff to ensure that all web-based materials are accessible to students with disabilities.
- To achieve complete customer satisfaction through efficient, effective, and focused service and support.
The 1,879 square-foot iCenter features 17 workstations, tables for discussion and laptop usage, wireless connectivity, and a studio to record and process digital audio and video.
The iCenter's service hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are located in Room 2410 in the Multi-Disciplinary Building. To schedule an individual training session, call 925.424.1655 or 424.1654.
