A Veteran's Transition to Success
Las Positas College Veterans First Program, is proud to announce its annual summer transition program, Operation Gateway 4 -A Veteran’s Transition to Success. The two-day program will run July 18th and 19th and is designed as an orientation and workshop for returning veterans who wish to further their education at Las Positas College. The two-day seminar will be dedicated to in-depth education/career planning, classroom expectations, finance and benefits information, campus life, community resources and veteran support services. Operation Gateway 4 also offers opportunities for veterans to experience the community and camaraderie they will foster and develop throughout their experience at the college.
Veterans who participate in Operation Gateway 4, enrolled for at least 6 units at Las Positas College in Fall 2012, and new to Las Positas College (1 year or less) will receive a book stipend for the Fall 2012 semester.
