The purpose of the Mid-East Awareness Club is to bring full awareness to all the wars, occupations, cultures, religions and people of the Middle East region. The club will engage the Las Positas Community by offering education about many Middle Eastern topics as well as bringing awareness to issues that seem forgotten or undervalued by the media. Finally, through a critical and careful assessment of many regions in the Middle East, MAC members stand united in an effort to educate and engage the public about a region that is greatly misperceived.
