Poetry Slam, December 7, 2011, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theater.
Yes, there is a LPC Poetry Club, and the students have worked hard to put together a holiday-themed "slam" -- it will be judged by former Livermore Poet Laureate Connie Post and other local poets. Here are the details, and a flier is also attached if you'd like to print and show your classes. This is the first-ever slam put together solely by students -- please encourage your classes to come and support it! And there are cash prizes!
When: Wednesday, Dec. 7th, 7:00pm
Where: Black Box Theater, Bldg. 4000
What: sign up to read your original holiday-themed poems (3-minute limit)
Prizes: $50, $30, $20
Admission: FREE!
