7. Discussion Items

7.1 Spring Assessments

  • Spring 2026 assessments are underway. Program coordinators are working with faculty to ensure
    assessments are completed each semester.
  • Assessment data is needed to support accreditation requirements.
  • Faculty are encouraged to enter assessment data to help identify and resolve issues within the new
    system.
  • Some part-time faculty are unable to enter assessments due to mismatched names and email
    addresses between Banner and META.
  • Section numbers are missing for some MATH and NESL courses.
  • Course SLOs need to be mapped to the appropriate PSLOs.
  • Data will be uploaded after the drop date. The SLO Committee will be notified by email once the
    data is available in META.

7.2. Three-Year Plans

  • Three-Year Plan templates are due in October.
  • As this is the third and final year of the current cycle, programs must submit templates for the next
    three-year planning cycle.
  • Faculty will be reminded of the deadline during division meetings. The SLO Committee Chair will
send a reminder email one week before each meeting.
  • Disaggregated SLO data will identify which courses are being assessed. Connecting this data to
faculty self-evaluation reports may help encourage timely entry of SLO assessment data.

7.3. SAO CurrIQunet Assessments

  • The Committee discussed developing questions for the SAO template.
  • Because SAO data may be collected through a variety of methods, META will provide a centralized
    location for reporting SAO results.
  • JG noted that mapping SAOs to institutional outcomes may be useful, depending on requests from
    Institutional Research or Institutional Development.
  • Additional feedback from Student Services is needed regarding the SAO planning and reflection
questions. The questions should remain broad and open-ended.

7.4. Future of SLO Committee

  • Looking ahead and viability; potential merge with Program Review
