High School Articulation
Student Instructions
Some of the courses you have taken at your High School or through Regional Occupations Program may be eligible for either noncredit or credit articulation at Las Positas College. Eligible courses have been articulated with each High School/ROP and LPC on a course by course basis and are posted on the LPC website. Articulated LPC Courses.
If you have identified an articulated course for your school/ROP, you may apply for recognition of the articulated courses and perform the following steps:
1. Apply to Las Positas College and Obtain Your Student ID Number (W#)
Apply online to Las Positas College through CCCApply between September 15 and December 31 of each academic year. You must have a W# (student identification number) before you can apply for recognized credit or move on to the next step.
IMPORTANT: When completing the CCCApply application, be sure to select the Spring Academic semester. The deadline to apply for the Spring Academic semester is December 31.
If you are unable to complete the application online, you may visit the Admissions & Records Department at Las Positas College for assistance. Please bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Your CCCID and Confirmation Application ID#
2. Register for Campus Credit
Register through LPC’s Campus Credit online portal between October 10 and December 31 of each academic year. The deadline to register for Campus Credit is December 31.
IMPORTANT: Campus Credit is the only way to receive recognized college credit from Las Positas College for articulated coursework. LPC will no longer accept paper applications for college credit.
Campus Credit is an online portal that allows college and secondary school teachers and staff to manage articulation credit.
If you need assistance:
- Refer to the Student Quick Start Guide (PDF) for step-by-step instructions.
- Contact your high school or ROP counselor/instructor for assistance.
3. Your Teacher will Enter Your Articulated Credit
Your teacher will review your registration and match your high school coursework with the corresponding Las Positas College course.
Your teacher will then enter the appropriate college credit and grade in the Campus Credit system.
IMPORTANT: Teachers must complete this process by June 15 of each academic year.
4. LPC Will Add Your Credit to Your College Record
Las Positas College will transcribe your articulated college credit by July 15 of each academic year for coursework completed during the previous academic year.
To confirm that your college credit has been added to your record, log in to MyPortal and go to Classic ClassWeb.
If you need an official college transcript, visit the LPC Admissions & Records Transcript Request page to submit your request.
