Requesting a Course Waiver/Substitution
Directions
- Download the Course Waiver/Substitution Request form and save it on your computer desktop.
- Complete the form using Adobe Acrobat.
- Submit the form and all required supporting materials via email to lpc-articulation@laspositascollege.edu.
Required Supporting Materials
- If requesting a course substitution using a course outside of the Chabot-Las Positas
Community College District:
- Official transcripts must be submitted to Las Positas College before submitting the form (foreign transcripts need an official evaluation by an accredited agency).
- A copy of the course outline of record or representative syllabus must be provided.
- If requesting a course waiver, evidece of parallel experience(s) and supporting documents which may include transcripts, statements from employers, and military or technical school certificates which provide(s) a rationale for the waiving of a program requirement must be provided.
