Chicane Latine Education Association (CLEA) Mission 

The purpose of CLEA is to advocate and support opportunities for Chicane/Latine students, faculty and staff at Las Positas. The goals are as follows:

1. Promote access to higher education and to retain and to graduate higher rates of Chicane/Latine students.

2. Recruit, retain and promote greater numbers of Chicane/Latine faculty and staff.

3. Develop and establish curriculum that reflects the Chicane/Latine experience.

4. Establish a relationship with the Chicane/Latine community.
