Important Changes After Upgrade?

Starting July 29, 2024, access DegreeWorks exclusively through MyPortal. Access via CLASS-Web will no longer be available.

Worksheet

The Worksheet displays your progress toward the completion of your degree. You can see the following information including all your completed courses, in-progress courses, and remaining courses on the Worksheet broken down into sections: Degree/Certificate, Catalog year, Major requirements, General education requirements, Overall GPA, etc.

What-If

Thinking about adding or changing a major? The "What-If" analysis offers you an opportunity to view how proposed changes can affect your path toward graduation in real-time before you make them offcial. The "What-If" function will take your entire course history and apply it to the audit with the newly selected changes.

Plans

The Plans function allows you to map out future semesters of coursework. This function will also allow you to make long-term plans for degree/certificate completion and verify that courses will fulfill your degree requirements. The plans can be saved for future reference.

GPA Calculator

The GPA calculator will allow you to calculate your term GPA, desired GPA, or grade combination(s) needed to achieve a GPA goal.

DegreeWorks Benefits

  • You can learn the degree requirements as defined in the LPC College Catalog and identify the courses needed to complete a degree/certificate.
  • You can view how completed courses and future courses apply to a degree/certificate.
  • You can view grades, GPA, and academic standing.
  • You can calculate the grade combination(s) needed to achieve a goal GPA.
  • You can learn how the completed courses meet the new major requirements by using the "What-If" function before offcially changing your major. This tool will also help you to determine how changing their major will affect their graduation date.
  • You can plan for registration in future semesters and estimate how many semesters it will take to complete a degree/certificate.

  • A degree audit created in DegreeWorks is not an offcial notification of completion of degree/certificate requirements.
  • DegreeWorks is designed to aid and facilitate academic advising and is not intended to replace counseling sessions. Students are strongly encouraged to see a counselor.
