Benefits That Actually Work
The NextUp Program is part of the Special Programs department at Las Positas College. NextUp provides additional support for current and former foster youth by providing educational and career opportunities combined with supportive services and access to resources. Our NextUp office staff are available both virtually and on campus to provide you with support from the college application through graduation or transfer to a 4-year university.
The NextUp program supports current and former foster youth who meet the following requirements:
- in foster care at least ONE DAY on or after your 13th birthday
- under 26 years of age at the start (July 1) of the academic year
