Online Tutoring
There are two ways for LPC students to get free online tutoring in Canvas: via the college's Tutorial Center and via NetTutor.
Tutorial Center
LPC's Tutorial Center has tutors who provide live help in a variety of subjects, including Math, English, and Writing. While in Canvas, click the link in the course menu named LPC Tutoring/RAW. RAW stands for Reading and Writing, and you can get help writing papers for any subject.
Online tutors in the Tutorial Center are available only during the fall and spring semesters. View more information on the Tutorial Center web site.
NetTutor
Las Positas College offers a convenient way for students to receive FREE online tutoring through NetTutor. NetTutor provides online tutoring in many subjects, except Math, English, and Writing during the fall and spring semesters.
As a currently enrolled student at Las Positas College, you can connect with a tutor by clicking the NetTutor link in your Canvas course. All NetTutor tutors are highly qualified professional tutors.
