Consortium Agreement Eligibility Requirements
· Have a financial aid application on file with Las Positas College (LPC) for current academic year
· Financial aid file needs to be complete, no missing documents
· Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress or have an approved Financial Aid Petition
· Be Pell Eligible
· Enrolled in at least half-time (6 units or more) at MJC
· Enrolled in courses that are applicable toward degree (courses must be listed on our Educational Plan) · All courses must be added by the Freeze Date (Spring 2026-3/16/2026, Summer 6/29/2026, Fall 2026 10/19/2026
· Must submit an official academic transcript from the Other College at the end of the semester. This Transcript should be sent to the MJC Enrollment Services Office.
Course Exchanges and Financial Aid Disbursement

CVC Course Exchange Considerations:
- Due to the frequent adding/dropping of classes through the CA Virtual Campus (CVC) course exchange, misaligned term start/end dates, and additional staff workload, special provisions are in place.

Financial Aid Disbursement:
- Home College (LPC) Units:
- Aid for units taken directly at Las Positas College will be disbursed on the normal published dates, pending eligibility and final completion.
- CVC (Teaching College) Units:
- Aid for these units will be delayed until the LPC Financial Aid Office Freeze Date, which occurs at the mid-point of the term.
- Home College (LPC) Units:

Additional Important Information:
- Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP):
- SAP policy applies for determining payment eligibility.
- Full-Time Students:
- Full-time students (enrolled in 12 units) do not receive additional payment beyond the standard disbursement.
- Cal Grant Recipients:
- If you are a Cal Grant recipient, please contact our office for further assistance.
- Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP):

Fee Waiver Eligibility:
- Most students qualify for a fee waiver by applying for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or the Dream Act.
- Remember:
- Add the Federal school code from any other schools to your financial aid application to ensure proper processing.
