Computer Programming Certificate of Achievement (CA)
About the Program
The Las Positas Computer Science Program program offers courses that lead to a Certificate of Achievement in Computer Programming. The certificate prepares students for direct job entry into areas such as computer programming in multiple languages, software testing, and mobile application development. This program will also prepare students for the challenges of the every changing computer industry and help them prepare for the workforce.

Program Outcomes
- Upon completion of the Certificate of Achievement in Computer Programming, students are able to professionally demonstrate the application of their skills in the development and testing of their solution to solve a specific computing project.
- Upon completion of the Certificate of Achievement in Computer Programming, students are able to professionally describe and apply their skills in the design of their solutions as well as alternative technologies or solutions to solve their specific computing project.
