Free Application for Federal Student Aid

File a 2017-2018 FAFSA to qualify for a fee waiver or other forms of financial aid. AB540 students should file a DREAM Application.

FSA ID - An FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems. Required to sign the FAFSA. Learn more HERE!

Complete your 2018-2019 FAFSA application by March 2, 2018 to be considered for a Cal Grant and priority financial aid for next year

It’s not too late to apply for financial aid for the spring semester!

File a 2017-2018 FAFSA to determine your eligibility for the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, or Summer 2018 terms. Qualified students are eligible for retroactive financial aid for the fall term and aid for the spring term.

You may now file a 2018-2019 FAFSA to determine eligibility for next school year. Be sure to submit your 2018-2019 FAFSA no later than March 2, 2018 to be considered for a Cal Grant!

AB540 Dreamers must file a California Dream Application (https://dream.csac.ca.gov/) NOT a FAFSA.

TAX SEASON

Get Free Tax Prep Help (enter your zip code for locations) if you are a person who generally makes $52,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.

SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress)

SAP workshops are no longer offered.

Instead, view the new ‘GetSAP’ online counseling sessions (3) targeted for disqualified students at https://lpc.get-counseling.com/

You must pass all three counseling sessions before filing a Petition for Reinstatement of Financial Aid.
Please note: GetSAP is not needed for students who need an excessive units petition.

2GenFundScholarshipClick here for More Information
The 2GenFund provides scholarships to cover most of the cost of toddler and pre-school child care for one year at the LPC Child Development Center. Students need not currently be enrolled full-time at the time of application, but you must enroll full-time during the terms the scholarship is offered.

Federal Direct Loan Program

The first actual refund date will depend on when your file is completed and your loan is actually processed.
