SAP Workshops

SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) Workshops
Only one workshop left! Tuesday, September 27, 5:30-6:30 in room 1602

This workshop is a requirement for any disqualified student intending to petition for reinstatement of financial aid. Students will learn all about the Financial Aid Office’s Satisfactory Academic Progress policy and will learn how to regain their eligibility.

Please note: A SAP workshop is not needed for students who need an excessive units petition.

California community college students receiving fee waivers will have to meet minimum academic and progress standards to remain eligible for the financial assistance under new regulations adopted by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors.

2GenFundScholarshipClick here for More Information
The 2GenFund provides scholarships to cover most of the cost of toddler and pre-school child care for one year at the LPC Child Development Center. Students need not currently be enrolled full-time at the time of application, but you must enroll full-time during the terms the scholarship is offered.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

File a 2016-2017 FAFSA to qualify for a fee waiver or other forms of financial aid. AB540 students should file a DREAM Application.
FSA ID - An FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems. Required to sign the FAFSA. Learn more HERE!

Federal Direct Loan Program

Fall 2016 Application period
September 1 - November 30

Spring 2017 Application period
February 1 - April 29

The first actual refund date will depend on when your file is completed and your loan is actually processed.
