SAP workshops are no longer offered.

Instead, view the new ‘GetSAP’ online counseling sessions (3) targeted for disqualified students at https://lpc.get-counseling.com/

You must pass all three counseling sessions before filing a Petition for Reinstatement of Financial Aid.
Please note: GetSAP is not needed for students who need an excessive units petition.

Important

Priority File Completion Deadline for fall 2017 is July 06, 2017!

If all required forms are submitted to us by July 06 and

  1. you qualify for a Pell grant;
  2. you are registered for classes which begin the first week of fall term;
  3. you are not on disqualified status;

Then you should expect to receive your first Pell grant payment by the first scheduled refund date for fall.

Files completed after July 06 are not guaranteed to be processed in time for the first fall payment. Files are reviewed in the order received. The later you complete your file, the later your first payment is likely to be.

IMPORTANT!!NEW! BOG Fee Waiver Program changes take effect Fall 2016

California community college students receiving fee waivers will have to meet minimum academic and progress standards to remain eligible for the financial assistance under new regulations adopted by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors.

2GenFundScholarshipClick here for More Information
The 2GenFund provides scholarships to cover most of the cost of toddler and pre-school child care for one year at the LPC Child Development Center. Students need not currently be enrolled full-time at the time of application, but you must enroll full-time during the terms the scholarship is offered.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

File a 2016-2017 FAFSA to qualify for a fee waiver or other forms of financial aid. AB540 students should file a DREAM Application.

FSA ID - An FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems. Required to sign the FAFSA. Learn more HERE!

Complete your FAFSA by March 2 each year to receive priority funding.

Federal Direct Loan Program

Fall 2017 Application period
September 1 - November 30

Spring 2018 Application period
February 1 - April 30

The first actual refund date will depend on when your file is completed and your loan is actually processed.
