The LPC Tutorial Program is dedicated to students' educational success by providing quality learning support relevant to their individual needs. We seek to provide services that will help students become independent learners and function successfully in an academic environment. We strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students who use our services.
You must be an LPC student to receive free tutoring through this program.
How to register for tutoring
- Fill out the "Request Form" on campus at the Tutorial Center (MDB 2401)
- Fill out the request form on this website and send it to us.
How to get writing help (Writing Center opens February 21)
- Bring the paper on which you are working to the Writing Center (MDB 2401)
- Sign in on the computer
- Sign your name on the Writing Center door (2401D)
- Wait for your name to be called.
- Each student is allowed 20 minutes to work with instructors.
How to get on-line tutoring
Beginning January 30, 2012
On-line math tutoring is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. for
Math 65 (including DE, X/Y, and A/B),
Math 55 (including DE, X/Y, and A/B)
Math 42AB and 44 (including DE formats),
Math 45,
Math 38,
Math 20.
On-line English and writing tutoring is available Mondays and Wednesdays 4-6 p.m. for multi-disciplinary papers and help in 1A, 4, 7
