About the Program
The Interior Design program offers a creative approach to learning Interior Design with practical course content, work experience and overall design projects that promote graduates to the working world of being an Interior Designer. The Interior Design program offers classes for students who are changing careers, brushing up on their design skills or wanting to have fun with their own home. The Associates in Science degree offers students the opportunity to attend college to receive their degree while working. Often these students are placed in jobs or continue on to a 4-year college with transferable classes. Interior Design offers a unique, small program feel but a strong learning based foundation at the same time. Students are highly involved with other classmates and work collaboratively throughout the program. Work experience or internships are encouraged.
About the Certificate
The Certificate of Achievement in Interior Design offers classes for students who are changing careers, brushing up on their design skills or just wanting to have fun with their own home. The certificate offers a solid Interior Design program with practical course content, work experience and overall design projects that promote graduates to the working world of being an Interior Designer. Work experience or internships are encouraged.
Certificate holders are able to obtain jobs as Interior designers in: their own business, a New Home-builder company, an Interior design firm, and a retail position as well as an architectural office.
- Upon completion of the Certificate of Achievement in Interior Design, students are
able to work in a professional design company with both business and design education.
