Schwarzenegger's June 3, 2010 Speech
On Thursday, June 03, 2010, at 3:00 PM, Governor Schwarzenegger gave a speech to students of California Community Colleges, California State University, and University of California systems at Sacramento City Community College. In his speech, he promised that he would not sign a budget that cut any resources to California higher education or K-12 education. He spoke about his time at Santa Monica Community College when he first came to the United States. He stated that the students are the future of our nation: “You are the future. Education is important. We have to fund education.” He loves community college and refuses to cut resources to Community Colleges. The archived video of his speech, as well at the Presidents of the Student Senate for California Community Colleges, California State Student Association, and the University of California Student Association can be found at www.gov.ca.gov.
