The Job Market
Students with either a Certificate or AS degree in Design Technology may work for engineers, surveyors, home designers and consumer goods companies designing products and packaging. About half our students have backgrounds in skilled trades such as construction and apply their design skills to move their careers to design-build or contracting. Other students major in interior design, architecture, engineering and many other technology fields.
