Early Childhood Development

Family Child Care Certificate

Because each program adds on to the previous one, you can apply your classes to your Professional Teacher certificates.

This program requires a total of 20-22 units of work in ECD and will include those courses considered to be “core” as well as additional classes focusing specifically on owning and operating a family childcare business. Graduates with this certificate will be qualified to own and operate a family childcare business. Students can also apply for the Associate Child Development Permit at the completion of this certificate.
