RSVP and Ticket Information
The Las Positas College 2008 Commencement will be held on Friday, May 30th at 6:00 pm in the Physical Education Complex. Due to limited seating space in the Physical Education complex, each graduate will be allotted up to four (4) tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremony.
To accommodate family and friends without tickets, additional seating will be available in the Lecture Hall, Room 2420, and a live feed of the ceremony will be shown on a large screen.
Commencement Participation Process:
- Commencement guest tickets will be available for pick- up at the Theater Kiosk on the following dates:
Monday, May 12 to Thursday, May 15
from 10am-2pm and 4-6:30pm
and
Friday May 16 from 10am-3pm.
Graduates participating in the May Commencement Ceremony may obtain guest tickets for family and friends at these times.
- To obtain tickets, complete and return the RSVP form (included in this packet) in person to the Theater Kiosk located between ILC (Building 1200) and the Theater (Building 800).
- Tickets will be distributed at the time you submit your RSVP form at the Theater Kiosk. Graduates must present photo ID to pick-up guest tickets or must provide a signed letter authorizing another party to pick up tickets for them.
Note: Tickets will not be mailed.
- The deadline to pick up guest tickets is Friday, May 16 at 4:30 pm. Availability of guest tickets is not guaranteed after May 16.
- Graduates who miss the RSVP deadline of May 16 must contact the Graduation Coordinator, Karen Kit in Building 700 by calling (925)424-1406 or email kkit@laspositascollege.edu.
Guests with Special Needs: A seating area will be provided for guests in wheelchairs. Please contact Karen Kit for seating arrangements.
