Although you can e-mail the application form, you also need to meet with Dr. Klaschus when you apply. Do not put the application in her campus mailbox in Building 1700.
*Please note: You must also be in the Honors Transfer Program if you wish to take an honors course. You may want to speak with the instructor first to make sure you are interested in doing the extra work; then go ahead and apply for the program, but do it early in the term--otherswise your work may not count.
*Please note: It is best to apply early in the term, so you can get started on an honors contract. If you apply after the contract proposal deadline, it is unlikely that you will have time to complete any honors work during that term.
If your application is approved, you will be on the e-mail list and you will get the honors program announcements.
Even if you do not do any contracts or take an honors course in a given term, every student in the program will have the opportunity to submit proposals for the annual statewide community college honors research symposium held either at Stanford (in spring 2015) or UC Berkeley (in spring 2016), since those proposals do not have to originate as honors contracts.
Please e-mail Dr. Klaschus or drop by Room 2174 if you have any questions.
Note: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to print the Honors Transfer forms.
