Oct. 13-14 Canvas training

Training for instructors of online and DE hybrid courses

  • The deadline to register was Sept. 30.
  • You will be notified if your registration is confirmed.

Please note that the Oct. 13 training will be repeated Oct. 14, so there is no need to attend both days. Training each day is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch. We are capping attendance at 20 DE instructors Oct. 13 and a different set of 20 DE instructors Oct. 14. After the workshops, participants will have access to Canvas training webinars until Sept. 14, 2017.

Priorities for selection into the on-campus training are (in order):

  1. Instructor is scheduled to teach an online or DE hybrid class in Spring 2017.
  2. Instructor plans to transition all of his or her Blackboard courses to Canvas and utilize them with students in Spring 2017.
  3. Instructor plans to teach an online or DE hybrid class in Summer 2017.
