Student Equity Data

These data are provided in order to identify disporportionate impact (DI) at Las Positas College as part of the college Unified Plan (SE/SSSP/BSI; link). The intent is to encourage campus-wide dialogue and support efforts on closing student achievement gaps within the following categories: gender, race-ethnicity, foster youth status, veteran status, income level, and disability status.

The College determines DI in five areas: Access, Course Completion, ESL and Basic skills Completion, Degree and Certificate Completion, and Transfer. The data used for the 2017-19 Unified Plan has identified DI in the following groups: males, African Americans, Asians, Latinos, Whites, Multi-Ethnic students, foster youth, veterans, low-income students, and students with disabilities.
