Write a Course Improvement Plan

Only Coordinators can create a Course Improvement Plan, which is created by synthesizing instructors' comments on the assessment data from the sections they taught.

  1. After logging into eLumen, click your department link under Coordinator at the top of the screen. (If you ever need to get back there, just click Home link at the top of the menu on the left or the eLumen icon above that).
  2. Click View Courses.
  3. Choose the course to which you want to write a Course Improvement Plan.

    Access your course.

  4. Click Course Analysis, then select a term.

  5. Synthesize the instructor comments from their sections to fill in the text fields under Course Improvement Plan. If you want to see the assessment scores from the sections, click View Course Results. When finished, click Save.

    Input your course improvement plan.

    This plan is available for editing each time you click Course Analysis. It is available for viewing only by clicking Add Analysis from the Coordinator menu.
