Images Repository - ARTstor

The LPC Library has purchased a license that allows you to use professional images in your classes. According to its web site, ARTstor "is a digital library of nearly one million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes."

Online, you can use ARTstor images within your Blackboard classes because those classes are password-protected. However, if you have a non-Blackboard, public web site, you cannot use the images. To check out LPC's ARTstor site from on campus, go to the library's home page, and click the ARTstor link. Any questions, contact a reference librarian.
