Message from Nathan:
I served in the Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst (0231) with 1st Marine Regiment. I deployed to Pakistan with 1st Battalion, 4th Marines in 2001 after 9/11. I again deployed to Iraq with RCT-1 during the invasion in 2003. I left the Marine Corps in 2003 as a Sergeant and returned home to begin college. I used the GI Bill to earn my A.A. at Modesto Junior College, my B.A. in communications at CSU Stanislaus, and my M.S.W. at UC Berkeley. I intend to use my 12 months of CH 33 for further flight training to earn my instrument, commercial, and flight instructor ratings.
I will be providing various support services for Tri-Valley Veterans at Las Positas College, every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month (unless otherwise noted) from 9am to 1pm at the LPC Health Center.
