PresidentI’d like to humbly thank you for selecting me as your 2011-2012 Student Body President. As President, I want you to know that I will work hard to return the focus to the students. I have a particular passion for politics and public service. In the past I have interned with the United States Congress, and I currently study political science here at Las Positas. I've also founded the Mid-East Awareness club here on campus, which continually strives to dispel myths and misperceptions about the region. My office is open to you so please feel free to stop by and speak with me. In times of uncertainty, you can be certain that the Student Senate is at your service. |

Director of Communications Hi everyone! My name is Breanna Krumins. I am your 2011-2012 Director of Communications. This will be my third year at Las Positas, after which I hope to transfer to San Jose State. I am double majoring in Psychology and Social work. I have been a part of the ASLPC for two years, now going on my third. I started out as a Senator, transitioned into an appointed position before finally landing a spot as an officer. I have enjoyed being a part of the Senate and it has made my time at LPC that much more enjoyable. I have a great passion for being the voice of the students here at LPC and believe it is important that everyone’s voice be heard. Along with being a part of the ASLPC and a full time student, I have great knowledge of class requirements and transfer information- just ask for help. If you ever have concerns or questions please do not hesitate to stop by the ASLPC office to ask for assistance, our door is always open for you. |

Interim Director of EventsHello Las Positas! I am Natasha Hrycaj, and this is my second year at Las Positas College. I am excited and honored to be your ASLPC Director of Events and I look forward to an enjoyable, productive semester. This past year, I have served as an ASLPC Senator, where I have worked on improving the ASLPC Textbook Loaner Program, and served on other events and committees for the students. Apart from being involved with the senate, I volunteer my time as a WyldLife leader and a Crisis counselor. I love Las Positas College and have many goals and ideas for the year. I look forward to an amazing semester and encourage anyone to contact the ASLPC with any concerns or ideas for the upcoming semester. |
| Christina Aboud |
ICC Chair Hey, my name is Khowther Aboud but my friends call me Christina. I was elected the Inter-Club Council Chair for the 2011-2012 school year. My job as ICC Chair will be to dedicate my time to guide and support all the clubs on campus. I feel LPC clubs provide students a positive social environment and opportunity to pursue their interests. I have been very active in clubs myself, participating in Philosophy, Poetry, Global Hope, International Business (IBA) and Middle Eastern Awareness (MAC). On top of being very active in extra curricular, I am also a motivated Bio major. I am now a sophomore at LPC and also a 2nd year member of Student Government. My plans after LPC are to transfer to a 4 year and pursue a job in the Bio field. If you see me around campus please don't hesitate to say hey, and if you have in questions about our wonderful LPC clubs, I would love to help you. |
