Hello, I’m Kayla Moreland and I’ll be President of the ASLPC for the next year. I’m 19 years old and the 2007-2008 school year will be my third year at Las Positas before I transfer to a UC where I will pursue a degree in political science. I have many goals for this year, one of them being to increase membership in ASLPC. Without the voices of many students, we aren’t truly representative of our college. One thing I think is so important is awareness of the issues affecting students on a local, state, and national level. I want to make sure that all students at LPC, not only members of student government, know what is happening on campus and at the Capitol. I also hope that we can really enhance student life this year with more activities and events for students to participate in. If you have any questions or suggestions, please come to the ASLPC office. We are here to help all the students at Las Positas, and we want to make this a great year!

Hello, my name is Tina Matin and I am the ASLPC's Director of Finance for the 2007-2008 term. I look forward to keeping up to date in all things money-related while serving this year. My position holds a lot of responsibility and is very time-consuming; however, I am willing to persevere and to do the very best that I can to ensure that the finances of LPC run smoothly. I have been here at Las Positas College for 2 years and am currently in my third year. I have always been interested in business and its many branches, so this position gives me a great opportunity to get out there and to actually apply what I have learned about accounting. I can proudly say that this year shall be one that will not be forgotten as my experience with LPC comes to a close. |

Watsup? My name is Christian and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I get involved in a lot of things inside and outside campus. I am currently holding the Interclub Council Chair position in ASLPC. I am also the membership officer of the LPC Alpha Gamma Sigma Honors Society. If my schedule permits, I occasionally join the math and environmental club activities. I work part-time as a chess instructor in various elementary schools in the Bay Area.
My goal for this year is to increase student life on campus, and see clubs become more involved in the community. If you have any questions regarding clubs and such, I'd be more than willing to help! Ayt, I wish you all the best in the years that you will spend at Las Positas. |

Hi. I’m Cynthia Ross, Student Life Advisor, and a faculty member in the Psychology Department here at LPC. I love teaching, but even more, I love working with students outside the classroom to enhance and improve student life on campus. We’re doing some great things, working hard, and having a lot of fun. We’d love to have you join us. I’m a big advocate for students, so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to come see me any time.
