Las Positas Literary Anthology
The Editorial Staff of the Las Positas Literary Anthology is accepting original, unpublished contributions from students and the community for inclusion in its new spring publication.
The following submissions are being accepted:
- We are presently accepting submissions of prose (up to 5,000 words), poetry (up to 10 poems), and artwork or photography (up to 10 pieces). Deadline: March 1 , 2012
- Art Work and Photography (to be reproduced in black and white or color): March 1, 2012
- Join us for the Publication and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 12th, in the Reading Room, Building 2400, Room 2401, at 2 pm. All submissions are automatically considered for the awards.
- We will notify contributors by April 15th.
Submission Requirements
Include all of your contact information with your submission. All work must be submitted in a digital format.
Prose and Poetry Submissions
- Email your writing submissions as attachments to LPCanthology@yahoo.com.
Include all of your contact information with your submission. Be sure your name appears in the subject heading if it's not part of your email address.
Artwork and Photograhy Submissions
- 300 dpi resolution
- A maximum width of 4.25 inches and a maximum height of 6 inches. (Do not distort the artwork; if an image is horizontal, the maximum width becomes the maximum height and vice versa.)
- Your file must be a PDF, or high-resolution jpeg file.
- You must use your last name and title for the photo/artwork as the file name. Follow this naming convention: "Name_Title.jpg". For example: "Adams_GlacierPoint.jpg" or "Adams_GlacierPoint.pdf". If you don't do this, we may not be able to use your work.
