Step 4: Apply the Lessons Learned
Analyze the achievement level of the class as a whole in eLumen. Did most of the class achieve the SLO? What was the overall result?
You might want to discuss the results with other faculty in your discipline and develop a plan for improving results the next time you teach the course. If you determine that improvements need to be made, you can modify the assessment, the rubric, or even the SLO itself.
Whatever you decide to do, put your plan into writing and enter it into eLumen.

If you have followed this tutorial step-by-step so far, you just finished scoring your students and clicked Save and enter analysis. This brings you to the Section Improvement Plan. Fill in the boxes, as necessary, to recommend any improvements to your sections. Once finished, click Save.
You are finished!
If you'd like, you can click the Post-assessment Actions button under What would you like to do? Choose any of these links, depending on what you want to do:
- Review per-student assessment results for this course
- Review aggregated assessment data for this course
- Analyze assessments and report next steps
- View roster
- View Course Improvement Plan (you won't be able to edit it, though; only coordinators can)
