Web Accessibility Task Force
The Web Accessibility Task Force is comprised of faculty, staff, and administrators, drawn from a variety of campus divisions. Members represent a range of proficiency in the areas of web design, distance education, educational technology, and disability resource services.
Web Accessibility Task Force Charge
The charge of the Web Accessibility Task Force is to guide the creation and implementation of Las Positas College's Web Accessibility Guidelines. It will also establish a process by which these guidelines will be updated. The Task Force will ensure the integration of these guidelines with the laws as outlined in Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The guidelines are intended to ensure that all web-related resources created by Las Positas College faculty, staff, and administrators are, to the extent possible, in compliance with the Federal Laws.
