Personal Counseling
Confidential help is available to Las Positas College students who need assistance with personal issues including, but not limited to, dependency on alcohol or other drugs, eating disorders, emotional stress, depression, or relationships in crisis.
On-Campus Resources:
- Counselors teach Psychology-Counseling courses to support students’ personal growth and development.
- Counselors are available for short-term personal counseling by appointment or drop-in for critical incidents.
- For longer-term personal counseling, counselors can refer you to a local therapist, who will work with you in conjunction with your LPC counselor.
- A Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and MFT intern is also
available at the Las Positas College Health Center. Please
contact the Health
Center for availability.
