Career Counseling and Career Testing
Students
All of our counselors are trained in academic, career and personal counseling. To set up an appointment students can call 925.424.1400 (Building 700). If you make an appointment for "career information" then a counselor will help you with available resources.
In the Center, Bldg. 900, EUREKA,a computerized career information
program is available. The OCC-U-SORT ASSESSMENT, has 36 question to answer
about the world of work based on your abilities and preferences.
Answering these questions and doing some follow-up research can
take approximately 30 minutes. EUREKA also has career information
on approximately 800 occupations with their educational paths.

TYPING TESTS/CERTIFICATES
LPC offers free typing tests to our students and charge $15 to our community members. Call the Center to make an appointment for your 5-minute timed tests.
