Date, Time, Location

The Graduation Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the PE Complex. Tickets are required to gain entrance into the ceremony arena. The ceremony doors will be open for seating at 9:45 a.m. and will close at 10:15 a.m.

Commencement Programs

Staff and volunteers will be handing out programs to guests. If you would like an additional copy, please contact Kit in the Student Services at 925.424.1406.

Flowers and Balloons

Once the ceremony begins and the grads are walking in, we ask that you please not give anything [e.g., flowers, balloons] to the graduates until after the ceremony. There will be a vendor at the front of the venue selling balloons and flowers. Also, if you have a big bouquet, we ask that you do not bring in the stands with you as it will obscure the view of fellow guests.

Reception

The Associated Students of Las Positas College (ASLPC) sponsors a small reception for graduates and guests after the ceremony in front of the PE Complex.

Interested in Volunteering?

Las Positas College students, staff and faculty that would like to volunteer to help are asked to contact Kit.
