Step 1: You MUST complete a Request for AA/AS Degree or Certificate Form
Did you know that you need to APPLY for a degree or certificate? Yes, you do! It's a requirement to be invited to the Commencement Ceremony in May.
Students that believe they are in the final stages of completed their degree and/or certificate requirements are asked to submit a Request for AA/AS Degree or Certificate Form to Admission and Records. As long as you have met the necessary degree/certificate requirements as stated on your college evaluation, you will receive an invitation to participate in the commencement ceremony.
All Commencement information will be posted on this web site as well as required RSVP ticket forms -- watch for upcoming announcements.

How Will I Know If I Completed My Requirements?
When a student submits a Request for AA/AS Degree or Certificate Form, general notification is within six to eight weeks, except during registration peak periods, by the Student Records Evaluator (Admission & Records).
If you are planning to transfer to a four-year university, schedule an appointment to complete the required IGETC and GE Certificate the semester prior to transferring.
