Spring 2009 Innovation Center Workshops

The Innovation Center offers workshops for the Four I’s program, which teaches faculty how to enhance their face-to-face courses with Blackboard, along with one-on-one appointments on a variety of other instructional technology topics (some that include Blackboard).

To make an appointment or register for a workshop, enter your name, email address, phone number and preferred time and day (if you are registering for a workshop, you don't need to list your preferred day and time). Next, click the box in front of the topic(s) you want to learn about or workshop(s) you want to attend. Click Submit when finished.

Four I's workshops

To begin using Blackboard to enhance face-to-face courses, you can attend just the Blackboard basics workshop -- either in the Innovation Center or online. All workshops, except the online one, will take place on Friday afternoons.

Blackboard Basics: Online workshop, on your own time.
Blackboard Basics: Feb. 6 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Blackboard Basics: Feb. 20 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Using the Online Gradebook: Feb. 27 from 1:30-3 p.m.
Online Quizzes: March 6 from 1:30-3 p.m.
Facilitating Bulletin Board Discussions: March 13 from 1:30-3 p.m.
Using the Assignments Tool: March 20 from 1:30-3 p.m.
