Services for International Students
Assessment Center
Students can take their English, Math and Chemistry Assessment tests in Building 700. Please visit the Assessment Center for a schedule, practice tests and other information.
Bookstore
The Bookstore is located in Building 1300.
Campus Computer Center
The Computer Center in Building 800 is an Open Lab for school assignments. Computers are available on a "first come, first served" basis.
Campus Safety and Security
Please visit Campus Safety and Security or the office in Building 1700 for more information including parking.
Counseling
Our Counselors are available to help support you in obtaining your educational objectives. The Counseling Office is in Building 700. Please visit Counseling for more information on their services.
Financial Aid
International students do not qualify for financial aid. There are however several scholarships that International students may qualify for. Please see Financial Aid for more information.

The Integrated Learning Center in Building 600 houses the centers for the Open Math Lab, and the English as a Second Language (ESL) and English 1A lab.

Transportation
Convenient to the College is the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), with local buses connecting to the College and surrounding communities. The BART system will provide you with the opportunity to travel all over the Bay Area including the cities of San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland and Walnut Creek
Wheels Bus - Connecting People and Places. WHEELS is a service of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) and provides public transportation for the Tri-Valley communities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton, California.
Tutorial Center
The Tutorial Center located in Building 2400, provides individual learning assistance for Las Positas College students. Student tutors are available for a large number of subjects, and all tutors are faculty recommended and trained.
Writing Center
The Writing Center, located in Room 2401, provides services for enrolled Las Positas College students in all disciplines. Stop in to see one of the English/ ESL Writing specialists.
