The Library has improved access to the research databases to which we subscribe. You do not need separate IDs and passwords if you use the databases through the LPC Library Homepage. You may use your W-ID and personal password, described below.
Use your W number and your personal password. (This password is not the same as your Blackboard Distance Education pin. Read the instructions carefuly) You will only need to be authenticated with your W number and password once during each Internet session. However, if you close the browser and then return to the LPC Library Homepage, you will need to enter your W-ID and password again.
Your user ID is the "W" number, which was issued to
you by the College. You can find your "W" number on
CLASS Web.*
Your PIN consists of:

Do not copy and paste your W-ID into the username field to login to the databases, some students have had problems with this technique. Type your W-ID into the field.
Please call a librarian if these tips do not help you. If you
cannot get help soon enough, please try the electronic print
resources of your nearby public library. All libraries subscribe
to electronic print resources that you may use if you have their
library card.
