W-ID and PIN through the LPC Library Homepage

Use your W number and your personal PIN (This PIN/password IS the same as your Blackboard Distance Education PIN. Read the instructions carefully). You will only need to be authenticated with your W number and PIN once during each Internet session. However, if you close the browser and then return to the LPC Library Homepage, you will need to enter your W-ID and PIN again.

W-ID and Pin

Your user ID is the "W" number, which was issued to you by the College. You can find your "W" number on CLASS Web.*

Your PIN consists of:

the first two letters of your first name
the first two letters of your last name
the last FOUR digits of your W#
example: John Smith with the W number W11122233 would use the PIN josm2233

*HOW TO GET YOUR LPC "W" NUMBER ID

Go to the LPC Homepage
Click on "Online Registration"
Choose "Class Web Login"
Click "Sign On To Class Web"
Type your social security number and your pin number.
Click "Log In"
Click "What's My New User ID"
The resulting screen will display your "W" Number

Do not copy and paste your W-ID into the username field to login to the databases, some students have had problems with this technique. Type your W-ID into the field.
