Great start to 2011 Cross Country Season

Las Positas won the Mills Invite beating over ten 4-year colleges.  The team had 20+ men run in the meet and our ladies did well are improving.  Las Positas runs this Thursday in San Franciscoat the Polo Grounds at 3:00. Long sleeve shirts were awarded to the Champions, so Las Positas College men were awarded shirts with Champions written on them. A 3rd place finish in the competitive Crystal Springs race was a plesant surprise and another chance for four LPC Haws to get shirts for being in the top 20 runners out of 150+ runners.

We are currently ranked 3RD in Nor-California (LPC's highest ranking ever) and we are on the move to make it to the State Championships. This is the best and most talented team that we have ever had at LPC and probably the highest ranking team in the college's history!!
