ConferZoom Student Information
ConferZoom is a tool within Canvas that allows instructors and students to communicate with each other in real time. If enabled within your Canvas course, students can just click the ConferZoom link in the course navigation at the appointed time to access this web conferencing software. Your instructor may also choose to provide a link on a page within the course.

Test ConferZoom First
Prior to that appointed time, students should test ConferZoom to make sure it is working properly. Join Meeting Test. If you haven't used ConferZoom before, follow the on-screen instructions to download and open the Zoom software and join the meeting. You will be the only participant in the meeting.
You might be asked if you want to test your speaker and microphone. Do that if necessary. Otherwise, you can simply Join with Computer Audio. You will be entered into the meeting.
To see the controls for the meeting, move your cursor to the bottom of the screen.
Try the following: talk with your video on, mute your microphone, un-mute your microphone, share your screen (which will display what is on your screen to everyone in the meeting.
Using ConferZoom in Canvas
For a meeting scheduled by your instructor, access your Canvas course, and click ConferZoom
in the course navigation menu.
Click the Join button.
You should see a dialog box that says Open Zoom Meetings? Click the Open Zoom Meeting button, and you will be placed in the meeting.
