Upcoming Transfer Events - Spring 2017
Every Tuesday during the spring semester, students can meet with a counselor during drop-in hours from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. Students can get help with:
- private or out-of-state college applications
- figuring out their transferable GPA
- following-up with their CSU and UC fall 2017 applications
- determining if they qualify for a UC TAG for fall 2018
Transfer Tuesday drop-in counseling takes place in the Transfer Center (room #1604). The drop-in hours will end on May 16, 2017
Career and Transfer Workshop Series
You're invited to attend a series of workshops to give you information and strategies for career and transfer success! These workshops will be led by LPC counselors and faculty and will give you an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals. You can attend one or any number of workshops that interest you. Some faculty on campus will even give you extra credit in your class for attending these workshops! If you’re unsure about earning extra credit, ask your instructor for this opportunity.
All workshops are held in the Transfer Center on Mondays from 4:00-4:50 and Thursdays from 10:00-10:50. See below or our flyer for specific dates.
As space is limited, registering for a workshop ahead of time is encouraged! Snacks and refreshments are provided to participants for free!

UC Fall 2017 Transfer Students: Attend a "Next Steps" Workshop!
Our UC San Diego rep will give a workshop on the next steps if you applied to UCSD for fall 2017. This workshop will address important document deadlines, financial aid deadlines and more. Advance sign-up is required. Attend this workshop on April 26th from 10:00-11:00. This workshop is held in the Transfer Center, room #1604.
Our UC Davis rep will give a workshop on the next steps that you should be aware of if you applied for transfer to a UC campus for fall 2017. This workshop will address important document deadlines, financial aid deadlines and more. Learn how to review and complete tasks on your UC to-do list and complete any remaining admissions steps. Advance sign-up is required. Attend this workshop on May 4th from 10:00-11:00. This workshop is held in the Transfer Center, room #1604.
UC "TAP to TAG" Workshop
Our UC Davis rep will give a workshop introducing you to the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) requirements. She will discuss the general TAG requirements and the specific requirements to UC Davis. You will also learn how to set-up your UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) account, and why this tool is important in the UC transfer process. Advance sign-up is required.

UC Berkeley- Cal Day!
UC Berkeley's annual open house-Cal Day-will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Admission is free! This is an opportunity for newly admitted students to visit the campus and discover what it will be like as a student in fall 2017. This is also a great way for prospective students to visit the campus, participate in open lectures, and stop by the libraries to get a feel for the campus. Will you apply to UC Berkeley?
On Cal Day over 400 unique events are offered. There will be open labs, classrooms, libraries, and museums. Talks by top faculty as well as student music and dance performances will add to the activities of the day! There will also be guided tours of the campus, residence halls, libraries, and other popular sites. Admission is free to the Lawrence Hall of Science and the UC Botanical Garden!
