Interior Design

Las Positas College’s Interior Design program offers a creative approach to learning Interior Design. Our most popular program is the Certificate program as it offers classes for students who are changing careers, brushing up on their design skills or just wanting to have fun with their own home. Our AA degree offers students the opportunity to attend college to receive their degree while working. Often these students are placed in jobs or continue on to a 4-year college with transferable classes. Las Positas offers a unique, small program feel but a strong learning based foundation at the same time. Students are highly involved with other classmates and form a collaboration throughout the program. Often times, students continue to help, critique one another and continue to support each other even after graduating the program. Our faculty are true designers, working in the Interior Design field. They are educated, own their own business’ and bring real life experience from working with clients daily. Las Positas College offers a solid Interior Design program with practical course content, work experience and overall design projects that promote graduates to the working world of being an Interior Designer.

Highlights of our Program:

  • Evening Classes – Allows students to work and do Internships.
  • Mature Students – Many of our Interior Design students are returning to college after a break, changing careers or even attending college with their children.
  • Small, friendly atmosphere – Our classes are very close knit with students often pairing up to do group projects in which they continue contact after their degrees.
