The Job Market
The Associate in Science degree and the Certificate of Completion in Occupational Safety and Health are designed for direct job entry and/or career enhancement. Many of our students work in the skilled trades, as nurses, engineers – any field that might require exposure to occupational hazards.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics 1, inspectors, testers, and graders in the Bay Area earn approximately 20.51 per hour.
